Cliradex Eye Lid Cleaning Wipes

.... used to treat blepharitis, eye mite infections and other lid margin diseases

  • Cliradex Towelettes are impregnated with Terpinen-4-ol (T40) which is extracted from tea tree oil
  • T40 is considered the primary active ingredient of tea tree oil
  • T40 is antibacterial and anti fungal AND kills Demodex mites
  • Demodex mites are implicated in many cases of blepharitis and cause scaling, crusting and itchy inflamed lid margins.

  • Demodex infestation is hard to control as the mites are resistant to most other lid cleansers and normal cleaning.

  • Regular use of Cliradex helps kill and clear the mites, reducing inflammation and improving comfort and appearance of lid margins

  • Use around the eyes and face for treating blepharitis, rosacea, lid cysts, styes (chalazia) and other lid margin disease.

> Begin with a clean face
> Wash hands prior to opening the packette.
> Tear the notch in the packette to reveal the moist towelette.
> Unfold the towelette completely.
> Close the eye tightly, without squinting.
> Apply Cliradex® to the eyelid and surrounding facial area by starting at the inner  most part of the eyelid and gently wipe to the outer area of the eyelid and face.
> Do not scrub, simply wipe or dab the towlette to apply the solution.
> Avoid too much pressure.
> Keep the eye closed for one minute to allow for air-drying.
> Do not wash off the dried formulation.
> Flip the towelette over, and repeat for the other eye.
> If Cliradex® gets in the eye, rinse the eye with water or saline solution.
It is normal to experience a tingling, mild burning or cooling, menthol feeling. This is normal and should dissipate within a few minutes.
If side effects continue or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult an eye professional.
